The course explores the development of receptive and expressive language and provides practical strategies to support children to develop their speech, language and communication skills.

• Attention and Listening Skills and Developing Understanding of Spoken Language 

• Promoting The Development of Vocabulary 

• The Blank Language Scheme (or Language for Thinking) 

• Information Carrying Words 

• Developing Expressive Language and Narrative Skills 

• Play and Language Development  

• Supporting Children with Unclear Speech and Developing Phonological Awareness Skills 

• Management of Stammering
